Increase power generation using the solar cell paddle drive mechanism (SADA) for 3U, 6U, and 12U CubeSats.
By using the solar paddle drive mechanism (SADA) for CubeSats, designed for 3U, 6U, and 12U sizes, it is possible to significantly increase the area of solar panels that can be mounted on a standard CubeSat, thereby increasing the power generation capacity. Additionally, since it is equipped with a solar tracking mechanism, it can control the solar panels to optimally face the sun except when in shadow. This enables the system to accommodate increased power demands from onboard equipment. The SADA includes solar cells, solar panels, a solar tracking mechanism, and a solar cell drive mechanism. Custom manufacturing of the solar panels is also possible.
